Indian-American students sweep top prizes at the first Presidential AI Challenge
At the Jun 9 White House ceremony, First Lady Melania Trump honored national champion teams from more than 20,000 entrants, and several winning teams are Indian-American kids. An Aldie, Virginia elementary team (Aarna Jaiswal, Eshani Khatri, Riva Madda, Samhitha Pinnamareddy, Sanuli Rathnayake) won for a Friendzone anti-bullying app, and a Sammamish, Washington middle-school team (Viha Iyer, Arya Pratap, Shrimayi Shetty) won for SkillUp.
